The 47th District Court handles arraignment, pre-exam conferences and preliminary exams on Felony cases.

Important Notice Regarding Felony Transcripts: This notice serves as a reminder that MCR 6.110(G) and MCR 8.119(H)(10) were recently amended by the Michigan Supreme Court to make a district court case immediately nonpublic at bindover. If you require a transcript on a case that was bound over to the Sixth Circuit Court after July 2, 2024, you must contact the Oakland County Clerk at courtexplorer@oakgov.com. The Clerk’s Office will process the request and forward it to the appropriate court reporter or official to prepare the transcript.
