Grand River Corridor Improvement Authority

The purpose of the Grand River Corridor Improvement Authority is to correct and prevent deterioration in business districts; to encourage historic preservation; to authorize the acquisition and disposal of interests in real and personal property; to authorize the creation and implementation of development plans and development areas in the districts; to promote the economic growth of the districts; to authorize the levy and collection of taxes; and to authorize the issuance of bonds and other evidences of indebtedness. Members serve a four-year term.
The Authority meets on the first Thursday of every other month at 8 a.m. in the Jon Grant Community Center, 29260 Grand River Ave, Farmington Hills, MI 48336. Cancellations are posted on the City of Farmington Hills calendar at www.fhgov.com.
