Busy Saturday morning in front of the PavillionART on the GRAND  is a juried fine arts and crafts show located in downtown Farmington on the first weekend of June.  Due to its amazing popularity, this will be our sixteenth annual event along Grand River Avenue! Grand River Avenue is a highly-traveled thoroughfare in the charming and historic downtown section of Farmington. Several blocks of Grand River Avenue are closed as ART takes center stage. 
 
The fair features free admission and an array of high-quality art in a variety of price ranges and disciplines including ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, wood, wearable art, glass, leather and sculpture.
 
Happy couple strolling through the FestivalPresented as a collaboration between Farmington Hills' Cultural Arts Division and Downtown Farmington's Downtown Development Authority, ART on the GRAND will follow all of the State of Michigan rules for outdoor events.

 Applications for artists who would like to be vendors at the 2025 art fair are now available through the website at www.artonthegrand.com.  Deadline for the application: December 31, 2024.

Makers Market

 

Michigan Makers Market @ The Hawk

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 - 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Michigan Makers Market at The Hawk on Saturday, October 19 is a high-caliber indoor art & crafts fair! Unique Michigan artists will be showcased throughout The Hawk Community Center at 29995 Twelve Mile Road, between Orchard Lake & Middlebelt, Farmington Hills.
 
Jewelry, hats, printmaking, ceramics, paintings, holiday decor, illustrations, and all kinds of media will be available for gift shopping. Tables for displaying and selling artwork will be set up throughout the Black Box Theatre, Performance Studio and Theater Lobby. The market will be open to shoppers for one day only, between 10 am and 4 pm. Admission is free. 

This year we have expanded the event for an Oktoberfest vibe with live music and beer on the patio. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for patrons 21 years and above. 
 
The Cultural Arts Division of Farmington Hills Special Services is now accepting artist applications for the Michigan Makers Market @ The Hawk. If you are a local artist interested in being a part of this arts & crafts fair, please apply! We are excited to invite previous artists and new applicants to this juried show. It costs $75 to register for a table space for the day and nothing to apply to this juried craft fair.
