Farmington Hills Mayor and City Council to Connect with Community at Outreach Events in Four City Quadrants in September

City elected officials invite residents to engage in open dialogues at local fire stations

 

Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Rich and City Council members are excited to announce a series of community outreach events aimed at facilitating open communication and community engagement. With resident convenience in mind, the outreach series will be held in the multi-purpose rooms of fire stations located in each of the City’s four quadrants.

Meeting Dates, Times and Locations

              Tuesday, Sept. 17, 6 p.m. at Fire Station #1, 35725 Nine Mile Road

              Wednesday, Sept. 18, 6 p.m. at Fire Station #2, 28225 Middlebelt Road

              Thursday, Sept. 19, 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station #3, 29260 Grand River Ave.

              Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station #4, 28711 Drake Road

"The purpose of these quadrant meetings is to connect with residents where they are to understand their needs and aspirations for the City," said Mayor Theresa Rich. "It also gives us a chance to update community members on all the exciting things happening in Farmington Hills, as we work together to continue making our City a great place to live."

All community members are welcome to attend the free and informative sessions. The meetings will allow the mayor and city council members in attendance to meet with residents, hear their questions and concerns, and provide updates on recent developments and plans for the City.
