The Hawk Theatre to Open 2024/2025 Season with Free Detroit Symphony Orchestra Concert on Sept. 17

WHAT:          The Hawk Theatre will open its 2024/2025 season with a free Detroit Symphony

Orchestra (DSO) concert on its Mainstage, as part of the DSO’s DTE Foundation Community Concerts. The concert will bring the ambiance of Orchestra Hall to The Hawk, ensuring that acclaimed classical music experiences are accessible to all. The event will also feature a variety of family-friendly activities before the concert, including instrument exploration for kids.

 

The DSO concert is the first performance of The Hawk Theatre’s 2024/2025 season, which runs through June 2025. Located in the City’s award-winning recreation venue, The Hawk, the Theatre’s third season features GRAMMY Award-winning and nominated musicians, tributes to musical legends, as well as strategic partnerships with cultural institutions to expose diverse metro Detroit audiences to high caliber performing arts experiences.

 

WHO:            The Hawk Theatre invites metro Detroiters of all ages to enjoy the rhythms and melodies of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, as they take the stage at The Hawk Theatre.

 

WHEN:          Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. Pre-concert activities start at 5:30 p.m.
