The City of Farmington Hills and the Farmington Downtown Development Authority invite the community to experience the 17th annual ART on the GRAND on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, in historic downtown Farmington.

The award‑winning art fair will feature more than 100 artists along Grand River Avenue from Grove Street to Farmington Road, showcasing ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, wearable art, woodwork, glass, printmaking and more. The event is expected to draw more than 40,000 visitors.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission and parking are free.

“ART on the GRAND is the perfect way to kick off summer,” said Cultural Arts Division Supervisor Rachel Timlin. “With Downtown Farmington recently earning the 2026 Great American Main Street Award, this is the perfect time to experience the energy, creativity and charm that make this community so special.”

Families can also enjoy Kids Art Alley, featuring 44 young artists in grades 5–12 selling their original artwork in the Huntington Bank parking lot. The KidZone will offer hands‑on activities and art workshops with the Detroit Institute of Arts.

ART on the GRAND is presented by the City of Farmington Hills Special Services Cultural Arts Division in partnership with the Farmington Downtown Development Authority and sponsored by Renewal by Andersen.

The Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division is the largest dedicated municipal cultural arts division in Michigan, offering year‑round classes, performances, events and creative programming, including activities at The Hawk Theatre and The Hawk Makerspace.
